Cocktails, Dreams & Disco – Join the Party!
We’re on the hunt for a passionate and dynamic Sales & Events Manager to join the team at Simmons Bars, home to 16 incredible venues (15 across London and 1 in Manchester).
As a key player in our Sales and Business Development team, you’ll be responsible for driving sales, managing all private hire and event enquiries for your 8 venues, and bringing our Cocktails, Dreams & Disco vibes to life across every booking.
You’ll be the go-to expert for your venues, maximising revenue opportunities and ensuring every guest experiences that signature Simmons experience.
You’ll work closely with venue teams and the wider sales department to deliver creative sales tactics, build lasting client relationships, and help spread the word about one of the most iconic late-night bar brands in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all inbound event enquiries from initial contact through to execution, acting as the main point of contact for clients and ensuring smooth communication between customers and venue teams.
- Maximise revenue opportunities through effective diary management, strategic upselling, and optimisation across all revenue streams.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing on private events, partnerships, and promoter activity to drive growth.
- Proactively drive sales to exceed individual and team targets through outreach, networking, and creative business development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, third-party bookers, corporate clients, and promoters to encourage repeat business and brand advocacy.
- Manage multiple venues, taking full responsibility for hires, partnerships, and proactive sales activity while collaborating closely with the rest of the sales team
- Represent Simmons Bars at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to promote our Cocktails, Dreams & Disco energy and grow brand visibility.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, keeping contact records up to date and using CRM tools for reporting and targeted communication campaigns.
- Manage third-party relationships, serving as the main contact for partner agencies and event bookers, organising FAM trips, and providing performance updates.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with Sales, Events, Reservations, and Operations to ensure event success and smooth delivery.
- Develop in-depth venue knowledge, understanding trading patterns, revenue drivers, and local market dynamics to identify opportunities and challenges unique to each site.
- Stay connected to the community, sharing competitor insights and local trends to help shape sales strategy and uncover new growth opportunities.
About You
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in Hospitality- sales/events/business management.
- Proven experience in a sales or events role within the hospitality or bar industry
- Confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, social environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Driven by results, with a proactive approach to finding and converting opportunities
- Comfortable managing multiple venues and juggling multiple priorities
- Knowledge of London’s bar scene
- Collins booking system knowledge preferred but not essential.
