About the role:We are seeking a self-motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our Property Team, to ensure the smooth operation of our venues. As a Maintenance Engineer at Simmons Bars, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing equipment, facilities, and systems to uphold our high standards of quality and safety. Your responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct regular inspections of equipment, systems, and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, plastering, painting, carpentry and other repair works.</li><li>Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.</li><li>Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs and maintenance projects.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities on Asana, including work orders and inventory.</li><li>Uphold safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment for staff and customers.</li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules.</li><li>Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests outside regular working hours.</li></ul> Your requirements:<ul><li>Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair works.</li><li>Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.</li><li>Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.</li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.</li><li>Relevant qualifications such as Manual Handling, CSCS, First Aid, IPAF etc.</li></ul> This is not an exhaustive list and other duties will fall within the remit as assigned by your line manager.
